Welcome to the Lay Off Calculator, a tool made by punters, for punters who punt. We’re a group of mates who love a punt and this all started in the lead up to the AFL Grand Final, where we had a few long-term bets going and struggled to understand the math to cover our profit margins before the Preliminary Finals.

We got to work and the Lay Off Calculator was born. We wanted something simple, effective, and tailored to how we, as punters, think. We’re not about overcomplicating things – just finding a way to maximise our chances, especially when we are on track or at the game and can't get to our spreadsheets.

It’s about helping you balance your bets with the logic of locking in a profit. Whether you’ve got a big multi or alive in the last leg of a quaddie, we built these tool to make laying off easy. We’ve been there, sweating over the final leg approximates using the calculator on your phone as they load into the barriers for the last leg, hoping your sums are right without getting stung by the unexpected.
